EVENTS IN 2023
This is the year where NPCC trainings return to pre-Covid days in Queenstown Secondary (QTSS) NPCC . Let the pictures show you what our cadets went through.
Unit Camp 2023
This year's camp was organised by the Secondary 4 cadet leaders. During the camp, the cadets had fun and were also given opportunities to lead, to bond, to develop values such as responsibility and to improve skills in campcraft. It was a success! ​
SPF Award Ceremony 2023
The SPF-NPCC Badge is the pinnacle badge for NPCC cadets - The highest level of award an NPCC cadet can achieve. This year, our Secondary 4 cadets, Xin Yu and Irin went through several rounds of selection to be one of the top few cadets chosen to receive this prestigious award. This award testifies to their learning, right attitude as well as their stellar aptitude as NPCC cadets.
Police Heritage Centre Visit 2023
Our Secondary 1 cadets visited the Police Heritage Centre (PHC) and was brought around multiple exhibits and multimedia displays that highlights the rich history of the Singapore Police Force (SPF) from the colonial times till the present day.
NPCC Annual Parade (NPAP) 2023
The NPCC Annual Parade (NPAP) celebrates NPCC Day and is also the day for NPCC to honour the outstanding achievements of its units. Three of our cadets, Jaswant, Le En and Fatimah were part of the contingents formed by cadets from all NPCC units for the parade segment of NPAP.
CSI Competition
Passing out Parade (POP)

Our Secondary 2 and 3 cadets participate in the CSI competition hosted at Queensway Secondary School. They were able to have hands-on experience and apply the crime scene management skills which they have learnt to solve a crime. It was a fun and enriching experience for them!
The POP commemorates and honour the contributions made by the outgoing batch of Cadet Leaders as well as marks the appointment of the next batch of cadet leaders.
NPCC Day
Our unit celebrated NPCC Day with a joint-parade with Red Cross during morning assembly. The Red Cross was also celebrating Red Cross Day. Our Head of NPCC Le En also read a message from A/Prof Stephen Phua, the Chairman of Home Team Corps Council and led the cadets in the reciting of the NPCC pledge.
Leadership and Mentoring Skills Course (LMSC)
Our cadet leaders participated in this year's LMSC to become more confident and effective leaders. They have been pushed and challenged throughout this course with various lessons and activities that enhanced both their hard-skills and soft-skills. The course has been a truly enriching experience, adding significant value to the learning journey of our cadet leaders!
Area Games Day 2023
Cadets in Area 14 had loads of fun playing games together and our cadets were also able to strengthen their bonds together. It was also the day for our Secondary 1 Swearing-In. Welcome to NPCC, Secondary 1 cadets!
Air Pistol Enrichment Programme (School-Based)
The Secondary 1 to 3 cadets were given the opportunity to shoot an air pistol! This activity provides an opportunity for the cadets to familiarize themselves with the safety procedures and also to learn how to aim properly. For the Secondary 3 cadets, this was also the time when they could prepare themselves for their live round .22 revolver shooting at the Home-Team Academy (HTA). Everyone had a great time and some cadets even went for second round of shooting!
Community Safety and Security Program (CSSP)
This year, the Sec 2 cadets addressed the issue on vandalism in school and shared the impacts it has on the school and student population.
Police Youth Ambassador (PYA)
The Sec 3 cadets did a sharing on online scams to school population during assembly and a community outreach to the residents in school in collaboration with NPC. You can visit their PYA website for more details. (Link)
Traffic Games Marshal
Our cadets acted as road marshals to assist primary school children in road safety. By doing so, children are given the opportunity to learn about the traffic laws and abide to them.
E CSI Workshop
Our Sec 3 cadets have an interactive hands-on experience by going through a series of crime scenes set up in mock-up HDB flats and the Virtual Reality (VR) On-Scene Investigation. This allows them to have hands-on experience and apply the crime scene management skills which they have learnt.
National Day Parade (School)
NPCC led the ceremonial parade together with the other uniformed groups to celebrate National Day in school.
Neighbourhood Police Centre Visit
The cadets were given the opportunity to understand the work of a police officer better and given a tour around the NPC.
